Sledding Fun
Travel North of Toronto Ontario Canada…….February 12 -152010. When the Ontario Government announced the new Family Day two years ago, it coincided with oneof the busiest winter carnival and fun festival event months in Ontario. The Monday holiday; the third Monday of February (February 15, 2010) coincides with, the beginning of Ontario Heritage Week (February 15-21) and Canada Heritage Day. The 2010 theme for Heritage Day is in support of the Olympics, celebrating the Heritage of Sport and Recreation. We had a few alpine centers receive last night and if you are heading to the slopes and trails today, as the Christmas break continues, expect machine groomed granular snow surfaces.
